It may have only lasted for a minute and no game footage was shown, but we are already chomping at the bit to find out more. The teaser trailer showed a very similar logo to the classic “Omega” symbol from the previous games, but this time there were letters.
These letters are clearly from the Runic alphabet and thankfully can be easily translated with the chart below:
Matching up the symbols seems to spell out a word, which seems obvious as the trailer itself mentions it.
What is Ragnarök? In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is a series of events, including a great battle, foretold to lead to the death of a number of great figures, natural disasters and the submersion of the world in water.
We also noticed the logo is in the shape of a snake or serpent, perhaps a call back to the World Serpent in the last game? Either way we can’t wait to play it in 2021!
